I had so much fun working with Claire and Matt last week! They’re enthusiasm for and knowledge of photography is notable. Matt had many special pose requests, some of those based on photos he’d seen in 1980s Ralph Lauren advertisements. I did my best to comply. Many of Matt’s ideas seemed silly to Claire and I (back-to-back, sunglasses shots, lying in the grass with chins on hands, etc.) In the end, I think Matt’s ideas turned into some of the best pictures from our session. I can’t wait to work with Claire and Matt again at their wedding in August!
Oh Marilee, these pictures are beautiful! I can’t believe that’s us! I am so grateful for your expertise and vision–I started crying a little when I looked through them. You did an amazing job capturing my joy in Matthew’s presence. Thank you, thank you so much!
