I photographed Snow White’s Wedding! Kelly and Matt had an outdoor wedding the Saturday after our first snow of the year. There was still snow on the ground, snow in the trees, and snow on the Flatirons at Chautauqua Park. This was truly a photographer’s dream. Gorgeous!! Not to mention that Kelly, Matt, and their families were fantastic subjects. What a fun wedding! One of the best parties I’ve seen all year. The reception was complete with a limbo contest and three pinatas. I am so happy I was able to be a part of this event. It was truly a pleasure to photograph.

Shannon and Tim were married earlier this month on the CU Boulder campus. This was the perfect location for their wedding, since Shannon and Tim met while attending CU. Because they are such enthusiastic CU football fans, we took lots of pictures at Folsom Field. This was a fun challenge for me, as I am not very knowledgeable about football. Before their wedding, I researched football positions, so I could position the wedding party into offensive linemen and the backfield. We all had the pleasure of being greeted by a fox while taking pictures both inside and outside of the CU stadium. That was quite a surprise! Congratulations Shannon and Tim!

Valerie and Pete are a tender, sweet couple. Every couple getting married are in love, but this couple’s love for one another was off the charts! Pete was kissing Valerie’s hand all day and evening during their wedding at the Inverness Hotel. So beautiful to witness!

Chris and Jodi had a beautiful outdoor wedding in the heart of Boulder. The ceremony took place on the Chautauqua lawn, and the reception took place at the St. Julien Hotel. Both Chris and Jodi grew up in Boulder, and they couldn’t have picked a better location for their wedding. The entire wedding, including the reception, took place outdoors. Lucky for Chris and Jodi, the weather was perfect that day with lots of sun and no rain. It was a day full of joy, smiles, tears, and laughter. I feel honored to have had the opportunity to work with this very sweet, kind (and not to mention, gorgeous!) couple.

Claire and Matt’s wedding was classic, elegant, and beautiful. At this wedding, I aspired toward timeless-looking images. That is, images that will not look dated twenty years from now. I hope I achieved some measure of timelessness here. Claire and Matt are a lovely couple, and I thoroughly enjoyed photographing their wedding. Congratulations you two!

I photographed Kristin and John’s beautiful outdoor wedding at Eldora Mountain Resort earlier this month. We lucked out with a gorgeous day and perfect weather! I really enjoyed working with Kristin, John, and their daughter, Mia. Mia is an adorable little girl, and she’s so photogenic! Fun was the main theme of this wedding. From the cocktail hour hula-hoops, to the bacon appetizers, to the “special” dances at the reception, this wedding was truly a pleasure to photograph. Thanks Kristin and John for letting me be a part of your special day!

Emily and Ryan were married last Saturday in Denver. They are such a sweet couple! I had trouble choosing which images to post, because I have many, many, many amazing photographs from their wedding! Everything about this wedding was beautiful. The couple, the families, the guests, the venues, the decorations, the laughter, the emotion…everything!!

Tia and Phil were married on the sunniest day this June. It was a gorgeous day, and they’re such a gorgeous couple! The ceremony took place at the St. Thomas Aquinas University Parish in Boulder. Tia and Phil met while attending the University of Colorado, so appropriately, the reception was held in the Glenn Miller Ballroom on the CU Boulder campus. My team and I had a blast photographing the happy couple, along with their lovely group of family and friends.

Despite the cold, rainy weather outside, Jessica and Steve were all smiles on their wedding day, April 18th. This came as no surprise to me, as this was my third time photographing the happy couple. Here are some of my favorite pictures from their wedding in Boulder.

Wendy and Bob’s wedding took place in one of the most stunning locations in Colorado, the Alluvial Fan in Rocky Mountain National Park. The reception took place at Mountain Valley Home Bed & Breakfast, also in Estes Park, CO. Wendy, Bob and Justin were such a pleasure to photograph! This was one of the smallest events I’ve ever photographed, yet the photographic opportunities were endless.
