I photographed Kristin and John’s beautiful outdoor wedding at Eldora Mountain Resort earlier this month. We lucked out with a gorgeous day and perfect weather! I really enjoyed working with Kristin, John, and their daughter, Mia. Mia is an adorable little girl, and she’s so photogenic! Fun was the main theme of this wedding. From the cocktail hour hula-hoops, to the bacon appetizers, to the “special” dances at the reception, this wedding was truly a pleasure to photograph. Thanks Kristin and John for letting me be a part of your special day!

I have been photographing Chloe since she was born, and it’s now almost time for her third birthday. Wow, how time flies! Chloe is such a fun and energetic little girl. During our last session, we enjoyed running up and down a big hill, and running up and down a set of massive stairs. Also, Chloe found and played with lady bugs.

Emily and Ryan were married last Saturday in Denver. They are such a sweet couple! I had trouble choosing which images to post, because I have many, many, many amazing photographs from their wedding! Everything about this wedding was beautiful. The couple, the families, the guests, the venues, the decorations, the laughter, the emotion…everything!!

When Bob and his family arrived at my office for a family portrait session, it had just started raining. We all scanned the sky, and at Bob’s suggestion, we headed to an open space park in far north Boulder (the sky looked clearer in that direction.) That was an amazing call, as we ended up avoiding the rain entirely. These girls are so precious! They are certainly some of the cutest kids around! Also, the day of our session was Sarah’s (Bob’s wife’s) birthday. Happy Birthday to Sarah!

Tia and Phil were married on the sunniest day this June. It was a gorgeous day, and they’re such a gorgeous couple! The ceremony took place at the St. Thomas Aquinas University Parish in Boulder. Tia and Phil met while attending the University of Colorado, so appropriately, the reception was held in the Glenn Miller Ballroom on the CU Boulder campus. My team and I had a blast photographing the happy couple, along with their lovely group of family and friends.

I had so much fun working with Claire and Matt last week! They’re enthusiasm for and knowledge of photography is notable. Matt had many special pose requests, some of those based on photos he’d seen in 1980s Ralph Lauren advertisements. I did my best to comply. Many of Matt’s ideas seemed silly to Claire and I (back-to-back, sunglasses shots, lying in the grass with chins on hands, etc.) In the end, I think Matt’s ideas turned into some of the best pictures from our session. I can’t wait to work with Claire and Matt again at their wedding in August!

I had the opportunity to work with my former wedding clients, Tanya and Jeremy, and their daughter Katherine, earlier this week. It was so great to see Tanya and Jeremy again, and what an adorable little girl! Katherine is one year old and full of smiles. She is honestly one of the happiest babies I’ve ever met. She did not cry during our entire session. She is also quite generous. She spent most of our session picking out rocks to give to me. She would then walk over and hand them to me. It was so sweet! Here are some of my favorite pictures from our session.

Last week I had the opportunity to work once again with Brian and his adorable daughter, Haley. Haley is now 8 years old, and full of energy. These two are a blast to photograph because of their happiness, enthusiasm, and joy. During our shoot, we played on rocks, searched for rocks, identified wildflowers, and did a little hiking. I was very impressed with Haley’s ability to identify rocks and wildflowers by name and kind. She also demonstrated talents at balancing on rocks and on logs. I hope these photographs show a bit of the love Brian and Haley share for one another. Enjoy!

I photographed a family reunion in Estes Park last weekend. What a fun group! All 19 of them. Lynn, Sandy, Bret, Andi, Quinn, Ellison, Meredith, Jill, Joel, Syndey, Elise, Landon, Kerry, Greg, Jackson, Jennifer, Rob, Keely, and Tanis. Lynn and Sandy just built a beautiful vacation home in Estes Park. We photographed the family on their lovely property. What a view from the front deck!

Jen and Jon now have a beautiful baby boy! I had the pleasure of photographing their new family recently. Here are some of my favorite pics from our session.
